When do you need Enterprise?

Pro is the full platform. Enterprise is for governance, scale, and integration.

We do not strip core modules out of Pro to push upgrades. Enterprise exists for organisations whose ops, security, or procurement teams need controls Pro intentionally does not include.

Platform-paid AI (optional)

  • Default is BYO-key — bring your own OpenAI / Anthropic / Google key. TaskRox does not bill AI usage.
  • Opt-in: prepaid AI credit packs. Buy credits, balance burns down as you use them.
  • No silent default to platform-paid. Admin opts in; explicit consent before first billable call.
  • No included credits at launch — every credit pack is bought explicitly.

Nothing else on TaskRox is a metered add-on. Every module is plan-included.

Frequently asked questions

How is TaskRox priced?+

Per user, per month, in AUD. Pro is $50 AUD / user / month and Enterprise is $100 AUD / user / month. Annual prepay saves 20% ($480 AUD / user / year or $960 AUD / user / year).

Which seats count toward billing?+

Owner, Admin, and Member seats are billable. Viewer-tier members are free, and external contacts without TaskRox logins are not seats at all. External partners who need to edit, upload, approve, or administer records use a normal billable login at the appropriate access level.

Is the trial really free?+

Yes — 14 days, no credit card required, up to 10 users in 1 workspace with 5 GB storage. Full platform access. Upgrade to Pro or Enterprise any time to keep going.

What happens when my trial ends?+

Your data is preserved. You can upgrade any time to restore full access. We do not auto-charge a card on trial expiry because we do not collect one.

When do I need Enterprise instead of Pro?+

Pro is the full platform for normal project, ops, and site teams. Enterprise adds organisational controls — org-wide MFA, domain/invite controls, advanced audit export, retention policies, API & webhooks, invoice billing, priority SLA, and onboarding/migration support. If you do not need those, Pro is the right plan.

How does storage work?+

Pro includes 50 GB and hard-blocks new uploads at the limit. Enterprise includes 500 GB with metered overage at 25¢ AUD per GB per month — so there is no hard block during an active project. You will be warned at 80% and 100% of your included quota before any overage starts.

Do you charge for AI?+

BYO-key by default — bring your own OpenAI / Anthropic / Google key and TaskRox does not charge for AI usage on your org. Optional platform-paid AI is available via prepaid credit packs — you buy credits, the balance burns down as you use them. We never silently bill AI calls.

Do you offer annual billing?+

Yes — 20% off versus monthly on both Pro and Enterprise. Toggle "Annual" on the plans above to see annual prices.

Can external subcontractors access TaskRox?+

Yes — you can invite users from outside your organisation and scope them by workspace, project, and module. View-only users are free; external partners who need edit/admin access are billable users. External contacts without a TaskRox login remain non-seat directory records.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from organisation billing. Downgrades preserve data and freeze any Enterprise-only controls until you upgrade again; we never delete project data on a downgrade.
