Procurement Package

Project-scoped scope containers for market sounding, tender or a direct negotiation ahead of award — the first production surface over TaskRox's preconstruction foundation.

Register + detail

Open Project → Procurement Package for the register: package number, title, procurement method, status, estimated value and the responsible team member, with search, sort, column filters and export. Click a row for the package detail — scope, procurement method, responsible member, estimated value, and the Supplier Enquiries invited against it.

Create a package from the register with New Package (package number, title, scope, procurement method, responsible member, estimated value). Non-transition fields can be edited inline from the detail page afterward.

Governed status and Supplier Enquiries

A package moves through a governed lifecycle (draft, market sounding, tender, evaluation, direct negotiation, recommendation, award pending, awarded, committed, on hold, complete, cancelled). This release activates draft, market sounding, direct negotiation, hold/resume and cancel — the detail page's action buttons only ever show the transitions actually available now, with a reason required where the workflow calls for one. Tender, evaluation, recommendation and award activate in later releases.

A package's Supplier Enquiries appear on both the package detail page and the existing Supplier Enquiries register (Business Register and project level) with a package/round badge. Quote, response, lead-time, availability and evaluation fields are not available on a package-linked enquiry until the governed response workflow ships — they show Not available until evaluation rather than blank. Documents and correspondence can be linked to any Supplier Enquiry (standalone or package-linked) from its links panel.

Permissions

The Procurement Package permission key (view / edit / admin) controls the register, detail, create, edit and status-transition actions. Viewing a package-linked Supplier Enquiry's invitation metadata additionally requires Supplier Enquiry view on the same project — both grants are needed together; either alone is not enough. Workspace owners and admins receive admin access automatically.
