3-week lookahead Gantt chart template
Fifteen working days of trade activities on a multi-storey building, with a pre-pour hold point and a rough-in inspection. Use it for the short-term plan that the site team reviews each week: the next three weeks of work broken into trade activities, so each trade knows when its area is ready and what must be signed off first.
It has 3 phases, 17 tasks and 2 milestones, joined by 20 links, and runs for 15 working days on a Monday to Friday week. The template opens below in the free Gantt chart maker, starting today. Change any task, then export a PNG, PDF or CSV or share a link. No account is needed.

Tasks in the 3-week lookahead template
Durations are in working days. Predecessors use the tool's row numbers: 3 means “starts after row 3 finishes”, and 4SS+2 means “starts two working days after row 4 starts”. A phase shows the span of the tasks inside it.

How to use this template
- 1. Set the dates. Move a task later and the tasks linked after it move with it. Weekends are skipped.
- 2. Rename and resize the tasks. Type over any task name or duration, add your own tasks and delete the ones you do not need.
- 3. Check the critical path. Tasks in red have no float. A delay to any of them moves the finish date.
- 4. Export or share. Download a PNG, PDF or CSV, or copy a share link. The chart also saves in this browser as you work.
If you already have a chart saved in this browser, the tool opens your chart and offers to load this template instead, so nothing is replaced without asking.
